More semester updates
If I were to have done a book cover for Siddartha by Herman Hesse it would have been like this.
The story of Daphne and Apollo.
If you don't already know it here is the Wikipedia synopsis

Still Alive
The Semester is back on.
The following is my homework for a class called "The Golden Section" taught by the geometer Mark Reynolds.
The assignment was to make a design based off of any polygon. I choose the enneagon (9 sides) and unfortunately had to do it twice because I did the fist one digitally and he wanted us to use traditional media.

Kazu was always saying in his figure painting class that he really likes acrylic because it is soo fast compared to oil paint.
To illustrate this point to me he said, "What if the Pope dies over the weekend and I'm a different person now? With acrylic I can make a painting about that the same weekend."
More than likely I'll be working out the more masterful aspects of this sentiment throughout my career as a painter,
however I was compelled to make this painting this morning (in acrylic of course) and share it.
